The Hyde Away Inn & Restaurant is committed to economically feasible measures to service the accessibility needs of disabled guests.

Our Accessibility Policy

  • Room descriptions on relevant website pages note that stairs are required to access all rooms.
  • We’ve instructed our web designer to include ADA compliance requirements where feasible as part of the ongoing updates to the Hyde Away website.

We aim to comply with Section 508 and WCAG 2.1 accessibility standards up to level AAA. Staying at the Inn

  • The Hyde Away building was constructed c. 1824. The building’s age and structure are inherent parts of its charm.
  • Wheelchair access is not economically feasible. Using stairs is required to access all of our guest rooms.
  • Service Dogs, as defined by ADA requirements, are of course permitted. Specifically we will ask you to confirm that the dog is required because of a disability and what work or task the dog is trained to do. The service dog must be with you at all times.
